How to use

  • Important: Create a vertical project first (e.g. 1080×1920) — this workspace only works correctly with vertical timelines.
  • Reposition panels by dragging them where you want.
  • Export the workspace file
  • Open via Final Cut Pro → Workspaces

This tool is completely free and runs directly in your browser — no installation or file upload required.

The generated workspace needs to be placed inside Final Cut Pro’s workspace folder to appear in the app. After copying the file, restart Final Cut Pro to load the new layout.

For vertical editing, moving the Viewer panel to a full-height position on the side can significantly improve preview visibility and framing accuracy.

If you want to generate a new layout, reset the workspace first before creating another file to avoid conflicts.
